Welcome: You Belong Here

Whether you’re new to Achieve Academy or exploring your school options — we’re so glad you’re here.

Achieve Academy is a joyful, high-expectation TK–5 public charter school located in the heart of Oakland’s Fruitvale neighborhood. We proudly serve students from ages 4 to 11 and are part of the Education for Change Public Schools network.

We are deeply Oakland-rooted, free and open to all students, and committed to creating a school where every child is known, challenged, and celebrated — from their first day in Transitional Kindergarten to their final fifth grade step toward middle school.

For Oakland natives, you may know our school building as the historic Old Hawthorne campus — a site with a long legacy of education in this community. Today, it continues to thrive as the home of the Achieve Alligators.
